About the Project
I was brought in as a front-end developer for the Toyota TRD website build. My role initially was to handle the front-end development, but I also helped train the designers on website design best practices. As the project progressed, I was promoted to oversee the entire project. I used the latest version of Bootstrap to create a responsive and user-friendly website. I integrated it with their internal CMS to make it easier for the client to manage content.
To ensure the timely delivery of the project, I hired two developers to help push the project to completion. We worked together to develop a website that met the client’s expectations and exceeded their requirements. The project had an extensive budget, which allowed me to explore different technologies and tools to create a website that was innovative and engaging.
Once the website was launched, I set up advanced Adobe metrics to analyze traffic. I reported this data to the Toyota TRD team on bi-weekly meetings. I used this information to make improvements to the website, based on the user’s behavior and preferences.
Throughout the project, I made sure to document every detail of the website for future developers. I left no stone unturned with the development and heavily documented the site to make it easy to transition to future developers.
This project was the most extensive project I have ever worked on. It was challenging, but it was also rewarding. I had a team of dedicated individuals who were passionate about delivering a high-quality product. The project was completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client. The Toyota TRD website is now a highly animated, user-friendly, responsive, and engaging platform that provides customers with the information they need about Toyota TRD vehicles.
